BRIX on the Fox | Wedding Venue

That’s the motto of the team at BRIX on the Fox. I’m so excited to introduce BRIX on the Fox as the first venue in my new Illinois wedding venues series here on the blog, and I’m so grateful to Rob for opening up the space for me to tour and photograph.
History of BRIX on the Fox
Constructed in the 1880s for the Illinois Condensing Company and later renamed the Borden Condensed Milk Company, the building that houses BRIX on the Fox has a long history. Constructed using historic “Haeger Yellow Brick,” the BRIX brings layers of industrial character and charm to your Illinois wedding celebration.
A newer wedding venue in Illinois, the BRIX on the Fox, Inc. began renovations in May 2018, and the first couple to be married at the venue exchanged vows in the flagship Two-Sixty event space. The Industria, BRIX’s second event space in the expansive industrial complex, was announced in July 2019 and hosted its first wedding on New Year’s Eve 2019.

The Two-Sixty
The Two-Sixty is a 9,000 square foot space brimming with industrial elegance, filled with plenty of warm-tone brick walls, stunning oversized portrait windows, and a crystal chandelier. But don’t forget to look up for my favorite feature in this room — the warm, rustic open-timber ceiling!

The Industria
The Industria is slightly smaller, at about 7,000 square feet, perfect for any industrial chic wedding celebration. The centerpiece of this event space at the BRIX on the Fox is the dramatic brick archway that flows from the reception space to the ceremony space.

Wedding Day Amenities at The BRIX on the Fox
Rob and the team at the BRIX on the Fox take pride in providing the highest level of service possible to each and every one of the couples that get married in the Two-Sixty and the Industria. When you book your wedding at either the Two-Sixty or the Industria, you can expect an all-in-one rental list (that means ALL the added amenities) for an all-in-one price.
Both event spaces come with included stylish, Tolix chairs for your ceremony, and beautifully-aged farmhouse style reception tables, a photo both, and a world-class sound system. The venue’s built-in curtain system allows you to seamless convert from ceremony to cocktail hour, and then from dinner to dancing.
Getting ready on site? The BRIX has you covered! The included wedding suite and powder room are yours from noon to midnight. When it comes time to party, the venue-provided downlights (programmable LEDs) will add a pop of colorful character to your celebration, and paired with the venue’s on-site DJ lights, your guests won’t leave the dance floor until closing!
My favorite feature of the BRIX’s all-inclusive service is the BYO Bar. That’s short for “Build Your Own” — For about $10 per person, you can curate a distinctive top-shelf bar experience for the whole guest list!
Both spaces are equipped to seat and serve up to 300 guests, and you’re free to choose your own vendors. That means you’re not required to use an in-house caterer. Bring the vendors you love the most! That includes caterers, bartenders, a photographer (yours truly, of course!), a DJ, and more. Having the freedom to customize your day with your own catering and bar is a rare perk among wedding venues in Illinois — tailoring your vendors to your personal tastes creates a unique and memorable experience for you and your guests!
Cost of a Wedding at the BRIX on the Fox
Saturday weddings range between $8,900 and $11,900 depending on which portion of the venue you book. Reduced pricing is available for Friday and Sunday weddings.
