Chloe & Aaron: Joyous Danada House Wedding
About the Couple
Aaron and Chloe met downstate in southern Illinois when Chloe started her studies at the University of Southern Illinois as an accounting major. They quickly became fast friends and started dating. Fast forward four years later, and in 2020 they got engaged and started planning an elegant Danada House wedding!

The Venue
Danada House is a beautiful historic wedding venue in Chicago with the perfect blend of natural surroundings, gorgeous historical elements, and a modern, elegant space for partying the night away. Located in Wheaton, IL, Danada House backs up to the beautiful DuPage County Forest Preserve, and the centerpiece of the venue is the charmingly renovated mansion.
This mansion wedding venue in Chicago is equipped to serve up to 250 guests and provides great flexibility when it comes to choosing your preferred caterer (more on that in a minute!) In addition to elegantly-appointed getting ready suites for the bride and groom, the venue is also appointed with a beautiful atrium with floor-to-ceiling windows for cocktail hours with a view.
My absolute favorite feature of Danada House wedding feature is the reception hall, with vaulted ceilings covered with twinkling pendant lights, the atmosphere is the perfect space for a romantic post-wedding celebration.
My Favorite Moments
Chloe and Aaron’s Danada House wedding day was beautiful and memorable from start to finish! For me, the day started with a wonderful surprise when I arrived to take Chloe’s getting ready pictures. When we met on Zoom to plan their wedding timeline two months before their big day, Chloe and Aaron noticed all the potted plants I had in my home office. Before I started taking photos, Chloe gave me a gift – another potted plant for my office!
This sweet couple incorporated many personal elements into their Danada House wedding. A few of my favorites were: pearl earrings for Chloe, passed down from her great-great grandmother to be worn by the women in her family on their wedding days; custom wedding gown alterations by the mother of the bride; and personalized stationery crafted by Chloe’s sister and Maid of Honor, Corinna.
While Chloe and Aaron chose to share their vows in private, they personalized their public ceremony for family and friends by inviting Chloe’s high school youth minister to officiate their ceremony. The couple and their immediate families enjoyed a few minutes of laughter together as Val signed their commemorative marriage licenses as “Officiant – Minister of Magic,” a nod to Chloe and Aaron’s love of Harry Potter.
Chloe and Aaron loved their caterer, Angeli’s, so much, they went out of their way to make sure the photography team had a chance to try some delectable butternut squash gnocchi. How sweet!
My favorite moment of the day happened at the reception when Aaron’s brother and best friend got up from the dinner table to serenade the happy new couple with singing and a ukulele duet!
