The Montebello Estate | Wedding Venue
16501 135th Street, Lemont, IL 60439
If that special someone in your life is ready to say, “I do,” choosing the proper venue is very important — it should be a location that will be memorable for years to come, and one of the best locations for a wedding in Illinois is The Montebello Estate. There is a rich history as a wedding venue, providing ceremonies and receptions that will stand out. It’s important to have the best wedding day amenities available –below is an overview of this location, its history, and what the Montebello Estate wedding cost will be.
The Venue at the Montebello Estate
Situated on 55 pristine acres of land, the Montebello Estate is one of the premiere wedding venues in Lemont, IL, a beautiful locale providing breathtaking architecture and landscapes. For some, it is a fairytale setting, complete with waterfalls, natural stone decorations, and beautiful buildings. It is often referred to as the “Narnia” Estate by locals in the area due to the iconic carved front doors and old-fashion clock post in the front garden. Guests can take advantage of the lounge, outdoor bar, and garden fire pit at this picturesque and charming location.
Lush and verdant from every angle, a great deal of work has gone into the landscaping of this venue. There are multiple ceremony sites with crystal chandeliers and a wrought-iron gazebo that is perfectly placed amidst all of this natural beauty. You will be surrounded by mature trees and 145 different types of planted flowers that complement the architecture of the facility.
All event rentals at the Montebello Estate are exclusive, with only one wedding or reception per day.
Ceremony and Reception Locations
With a maximum capacity of 275 guests, the Montebello Estate boasts five unique ceremony and reception locations. My favorite ceremony spot is the antique wrought iron gazebo, which looks incredibly romantic when decked out with a floral installation! There’s also plenty of open space to host a ceremony nestled amid the estate’s groves of mature deciduous trees. The all-white event pavilion adjoining the mansion is suitable for indoor ceremonies in case of inclement weather as well as a seated dinner reception.
