Wedding Editorial: The Stockhouse Chicago
Last month, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a shootout-style wedding editorial event hosted by Nichole Babiez Photography and planned, designed, and coordinated by Fatiana Stobaugh, the amazing wedding planner behind Chic Events and Weddings.
About the Stockhouse Chicago
The Stockhouse is a new wedding venue in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood. The Stockhouse is the perfect place to host your wedding celebration if you’re looking for a Restoration Hardware meets Industrial Revolution sort of vibe. With 24-foot high original terracotta tile ceilings and plenty of oversized windows for natural light, the transformable spaces within The Stockhouse can be adapted for wedding celebrations of any size.
But the open-concept space is not the only amenity the Stockhouse has to offer. This new wedding venue in Chicago brings more to the table than just a blank canvas for your wedding day celebration. The Stockhouse’s event management team also provides stylish and modern tables and chairs, accent lighting, photo booths, and more in several all-inclusive wedding day packages to help you streamline the planning process for your perfect wedding day celebration.
Wedding Editorial at The Stockhouse Chicago
Fatiana and Nicole both put so much time and energy into designing and executing a multi-station wedding editorial shoot at The Stockhouse Chicago. Despite the heavy snowfall the morning of our shoot, the atmosphere inside the venue was warm and filled with collegial joy as about a dozen photographers worked together to create art at three different themed photo stations.
The shoot featured a team of beautiful models: two real couples and a solo, fine-art styled bride.
Decor for the shoot was graciously provided by Posh Studio Rentals, a Chicago event rentals company catering to all types of occasions including baby and bridal showers, birthdays, engagements, and weddings of every size.
Every table was adorned with a beautiful selection of sweets: Cakes by But First Desserts, and cookies by Sassy Sweet by Paisley.
Stationery for flatly and wedding details portion of the shoot was provided by Sweet Letters Calligraphy.
Our model couples received stunning hair and makeup services by the talented Emily Rae Bridal Hair and Alyssa Diana Makeup.
Wardrobe for our bride and groom models was graciously provided by Grace and Lace Bridal and The Groomsman Suit.
Florals for each of our sets were beautifully crafted by Indigo Floral and Treasure Hut Flowers.
Are you engaged and looking for a Chicago Wedding Photographer for your celebration at The Stockhouse? I would love to hear everything you’re dreaming up for the big day!
