About Joshua Harrison
My Story
I’ve been in your shoes.
Four years ago, I proposed to my girlfriend, Jasmine, under the Christmas lights at the Lincoln Park Zoo… And then I started counting down the days until June 23rd, 2018 — the date I would marry the love of my life at our small suburban church in Lincolnshire, IL.
I married my best friend. I can’t recall all the details about our wedding day, but I do remember how I felt when Jasmine came walking down the aisle: That she was the one for me and I would marry her again and again.
Whenever I look at our wedding photographs on the wall, or page through our wedding album, I’m reminded of that feeling.
That’s why I believe in serving couples who are deeply in love and committed to each other for the long haul.
Creating beautiful heirlooms together is just one way we can celebrate and anchor your lifelong commitment to each other.
My Core Values as Your Wedding Photographer
More about my love story…
I asked Jasmine to be my girlfriend with the infamous one-liner, “So, I like you…what do you want to do about it?”
Fortunately for me, she knew exactly what she wanted, and replied without missing a beat, “Do you want me to be your girlfriend and make it Facebook official?” You could say the rest was history. (And in case you’re wondering, I did a much better job with the proposal. I wrote a personalized song and sang to her!)
After we had been together for a while, Jasmine told me she first decided we could be friends and get to know each other because I had biceps. Fitness is still important in our relationship together. During warmer months, we love staying active by taking our daughter for walks around the nature trail in our subdivision. Jasmine is a competitive CrossFitter turned #PelotonMom. I like to lift weights in my basement gym.
We love doing life together, and our church community is like our second family. We are so thankful for the people who build us up and help us grow in love and marriage. We are proud parents of a sassy two-year-old; we’re expecting Baby Harrison #2 coming in March 2022.
