McKall & Frank Engagement Session Clark Street Beach Evanston IL
About The Couple
When McKall first reached out to me looking for a Chicago Fine Art Engagement Photographer, she wrote that she and Frank have been friends for most of their lives. I think it’s so wonderful when couples grow up together and grow to love each other at the same time. The happy couple went to high school together, but as McKall notes, they never took it further than friendship. engagement session Clark street beach Evanston IL
McKall and Frank stayed friends after high school and even through college, but things did not start to get serious until they ran into each other in 2015 thanks to a chance meeting at Crossroads Bar and Grill when they both visited the bar to watch the Turkey Bowl. engagement session Clark street beach Evanston IL
Engagement Session Clark Street Beach Evanston IL
McKall and Frank are planning a destination wedding to a sunny location in Mexico, so it seemed only fitting that we celebrate their upcoming nuptials with a beach-themed engagement session, so we decided to meet up at Clark Street Beach Evanston IL for their sunny summer session.
We enjoyed an afternoon in Evanston, IL exploring the lakefront near Clark Street Beach as well as Northwestern University. It just so happened that the university was remodeling their sailing center, so we were able to use a few boats as “props” for their session. engagement session Clark street beach Evanston IL
And as an added bonus, McKall and Frank’s fur baby, Nash, made an appearance at the beginning of their session! Nash is a very playful and energetic husky, and we had so much fun incorporating him into McKall and Frank’s Engagement Session Clark St Beach Evanston IL. McKall and Frank did a great job of incorporating Nash into their session by styling him with a “dog of honor” bandana!
And they followed my guidelines for incorporating a pet into an engagement session perfectly! McKall’s sister stayed with us the whole time to keep Nash happy and cool when he was not in the shot. As a reward for his hard work, Nash got to dive into the cool waters of Lake Michigan when we were done!
